I’m having issues with my Zoom settings
ClassFit creates Zoom meetings based on your Zoom account and meeting settings. Some customers have mentioned that the Zoom meetings generated by ClassFit don’t always align with their preferred settings.
Zoom has multiple tiers of settings, and it’s possible that your account settings are overriding your meeting settings. For example, you may have a passcode requirement enabled at the account level, but this setting might not be locked, allowing meetings created by ClassFit or other third parties to bypass this requirement.
Resolving Zoom Settings Issues
To ensure that meetings scheduled via ClassFit adhere to your Zoom settings, follow these steps:
- Lock Your Passcode Requirements
If you require a passcode for all meetings, make sure to lock this setting in your Zoom account. This ensures that every meeting, including those scheduled by ClassFit, automatically requires a passcode.- Go to your Account Settings page in Zoom.
- Find the passcode setting and click the Lock icon to secure it.
- Check All Relevant Settings
Zoom settings can be found in multiple areas such as your Profile Settings and Account Settings. It’s important to review and lock any settings that are critical to how your meetings are conducted.
